CANDU Operators World is a website that will provide a community-based information forum for CANDU plant operations staff. The site will contain a number of information services designed to enrich and broaden individual operating knowledge and life experience. The site is being created to:
 Increase the sharing of best operating practices and lessons learned from across the CANDU community,
Provide a forum for informal peer-to-peer discussion of topics of interest across shift and organizational boundaries, and
Increase the availability of industry news and information to plant shiftworkers.
The concept for the CANDU Operators World website is being evolved through discussions with operations staff from several Canadian CANDU plants.
